Happy Pre-Thanksgiving Day everyone.   I have had a quiet restful day turning my virtual home into a winter wonderland.   Many thanks to my friend Kenzie for helping me make my home so pretty.  After everything was in place I zipped into a comfy hoodie and some worn out pants and enjoyed the sound of the snow falling .. a warm fire.. and a hot steaming cup of cocoa.   These are the good days.   I’m hoping still to have a little sit down virtual Thanksgiving with my SL family.   But incase schedules don’t line up as needed I’ll share a word of thanks today too.   I’m thankful for my health and happiness and having hands to hold when I need them.   I’m thankful that I know the sound of children’s laughter and have the power to kiss a boo boo away.   I’m blessed beyond measure and not only do I know that… I’m very Thankful for it.   I’m thankful for all my friends the ones that have come and gone and the ones that have come and laid down permanent homes in my heart and life.  I’m thankful for love that fills both my lives and the ones that make that tingle feeling possible.   Thank You.

Winter….

Winter is indeed coming and I for one can not wait.   I love the other seasons.   But I really love Winter.   Prolly the kid in me getting all excited about the Holiday times.   I’m a big fan of Christmas and all the decorations.   I especially like that the cold tends to make our loved ones want to be at home.   Nothing makes me feel happier than a cold wind blowing… a fire blazing in the fireplace… a warm blanket… and a hot steamy cup of cocoa.   I’m excited about finding more winter type items to blog in the new future.   This outfit is an old one out of my inventory and it’s not *looks around before saying it* mesh.   But I really loved the feel of it.   So I dusted it off and had a fun day of romping thru the early snows on SL.    I hope you Enjoy.. A coquette is defined as a woman who makes teasing sexual or romantic overtures; a flirt.  The question on your mind now is… Is Lavindia a coquette?   I guess the answer would have to be if the feathered skirt fits… I’ll wear it!    I picked up this fancy feathered corset from Etchaflesh a while back.   I loved it!   But had a hard time just sorta working an outfit around it.   THEN… the feathered skirt came into my life and things that were long-buried in my inventory had new meaning.   Thank you again my beautiful friend Trouble for helping me find this great essential piece of fashion!   And just to push the coquette card a little further I added a diamond studded blindfold.   Well it worked for me.   Gave me that oozing with sexy feeling that I was trying to find.   Enjoy!

Fun… Friends…. Games….

Well I’ve been doing some thinking about getting my roleplaying feet wet lately.   There are quite a few different sims in SecondLife where you can take up a new identity.   You could become a Roman gladiator, a disgruntled teen run away to the streets, or you could immerse yourself in a fairy tale.   There are many more opportunities to try out your roleplaying abilities in this virtual world but I’ll leave you to some of the possibility investigation.    One place that I’ve been trying out my wings is WonderOaks.    It’s a great place with lots of nice people who like to hang out and have a laugh.    Just beware of the mushy brew.   I’m just not sure whats in that stuff or whose feet they used to mix it.    Stop on by anytime tho and make some new friends and explore the lovely atmosphere that is…. Right..
